Jiaheng Guo

I am a second-year M.S. student in the Department of Statistics and Operations Research at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I am fortunate to work with Professor Tianlong Chen at UNC CS. I received my B.Eng. in Artificial Intelligence from Nanjing University in 2025.

Most of my work sits in AI for science, mostly in biology and healthcare. I am specifically interested in:

• Physiological world models — learning to simulate living systems under intervention.
• AI for cancer research — molecular perturbation models, drug-response prediction, target identification, and drug repurposing.
• Neural stimulation and response — modeling how neural systems respond to electrical stimulation.
• Agentic AI for critical infrastructure — agent systems that simulate and recommend actions in power distribution networks.
